Trailer for Live-action Film "Sonic the Hedgehog" Released!
1. Paramount Pictures has unveiled the trailer for its Hollywood live-action film "Sonic the Movie" (Original title: Sonic the Hedgehog), which is based on Sega's popular action video game "Sonic the Hedgehog".
Movie Sonic's design had been revealed before this, but in this new video, we can see Sonic running around at supersonic speeds, and hear his voice actor, Ben Schwartz's (known for his role as BB-8 in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens") talking.
Jim Carrey, who is known for his roles in "Mask" and other movies, plays Doctor Eggman.
"Sonic the Movie" will be released overseas in November 2019. At the time of this article's writing, the release date in Japan is undecided.

Gamba no Bōken was based on "Bōkenshatachi", which had a real mouse in it, so the anime version is completely foreign to fans of the book.

"As the creator, I do get a feeling of "Huh?" in regards to the scenario and characterisations, but the director, actors, and staff on set are all super capable.
Perhaps it would be correct for me and all the fans to appreciate it as a "New Dragon Ball" in another dimension. Maybe, with the power on set, it might even become a great masterpiece!"
