Yoochun (JYJ) Tests Positive for Dɾᴜgs... Dɾᴜgs Detected in Leg Hair
South Korean singer and actor Park Yoochun (JYJ, 32), tested positive for dɾᴜg usage in a dɾᴜg test conducted by the South Korean National Forensic Service.
According to prosecutors and investigating authorities on the 23rd, the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency's dɾᴜg investigation team, who were investigating this case, received the results the previous day.
Police searched Park's house and vehicle on the 16th this month. During the house search, police collected body hair and sent it to the South Korean National Forensic Service for appraisal. A simple urine test done at the time came out negative.
As most of Park's body hair had been removed, police secured hair from his head and leg and requested an appraisal. Dɾᴜg components were detected in his leg hair.
Park is suspected of purchasing and using dɾᴜgs with Hwang Hana, granddaughter of the founder of Nanyang Dairy Products, who was arrested for illegal dɾᴜg usage earlier this year. In a press conference on April 10, Park vehemently denied the allegations, stating, "I have never used dɾᴜgs and I do not recommend it to fans."
