Youtuber Tenchim's Ex-Boyfriend Made Her Pay 5 Million Yen to Break Up With Him

Youtuber Tenchim's Ex-Boyfriend Made Her Pay 5 Million Yen to Break Up With Him

On February 24, YouTuber and talento Tenchim (Hashimoto Tenka) appeared on 'Nakai-kun Kimete!' (TBS), and revealed that she once paid 5 million yen to her ex-boyfriend in order to break up with him. In this episode, female talents who have dated a "no-good man" before were invited to share their experiences.

Tenchim realised that her ex-boyfriend was a 'no good man' when she looked through his phone. She discovered that he sorted his contacts into folders, such as work, hometown, friends and also a "golf" folder. When she opened the golf folder, all the contacts were female and he had written a number next to each of their names. She suspects that those were women he was seeing on the side, and that the number was his ranking of them. She also looked through his texts and the content was on the borderline of cheating.

Stuff happened and she told him that she wanted to break up. He replied, "Pay me 5 million yen as consolation money for the time and the money I spent." The ex-boyfriend had kindly paid for the meals when they were dating.

Tenchim actually paid the 5 million. She explained that if she didn't pay, he would keep bugging her, and that would be more stressful. When asked what type of person he was she said, "I don't really know... Someone that you might find in Roppongi."

She's telling this story like it's one of her many triumphs and she's boasting, 'Look, I'm rich' but from an outsider’s perspective, she’s just pathetic.

Her reason for paying: "If I don't pay, he'll keep bugging me..."
But in reality he was probably like, "I'll sell this photo and this photo to Bunshun if you don't pay."

She probably has money because she was a child actress. But ranking female contacts is a definite out. Any woman would break up with him.

If this is true, he must have had a lot of dirt on her.
I hope he doesn't come back to extort more.

Get the tax office investigate him as the recipient of a donation
He'll end up having to pay around 3 million yen to the tax office, so that should be sufficient revenge.

If her ex-boyfriend doesn't pay tax for this additional income, he's gonna get arrested.

It might be only me, but I thought, how can they air something like this on terrestrial TV? This was just an episode of people putting themselves down.
I don't get why TV stations air shows like this. How are parents supposed to explain this to their kids when they watch it.

You get these sorts of complaints because it's TV,
But this was aired at 12 AM at night, which is not a time kids are awake, so you shouldn't need to do any explaining. Even if they are awake, the content is something a parent can talk to their kid about anyway.
On the other hand, YouTube can be watched 24/7 and videos like this are uploaded all the time without any regulation.

This talento's personality aside
It's good she managed to break up with him.
I understand that there are people who want to escape so much they would even pay people off with a large sum of money.

It's just, with this, she'll be known as "the woman who will dish out the cash if you ask"
You can't eliminate the possibility that someone might use her as an ATM.

I don't think that it was this ex but apparently she also had an ex who tried to kill her.
I get why she'd just pay up to get rid of dangerous guys like this.
It's disgusting, and even just the thought of having to spend your days in fear is scary.
Solving it with money was probably the easiest way.

The videos that YouTubers make are practically all the same. Most of the time, they're trying to show off that they're rich.
Makes me think that they're not decent people...
It's not that I'm prejudiced but people become YouTubers to fulfill their dream, because they aren't good enough or don't have the personality to appear on TV.
Hikakin, Raphael and Hikaru are like this too. Their videos always are about spending money, I don't get what they're trying to achieve by bragging to the audience that they're rich.
Do they want to become kings or something?

She's been working in the industry since she was a kid. I think I remember her saying that when she was in middle school, her annual income was 10 million yen.
Also, her parents are rich

Her face has changed so much
I only remember her when she was a model in middle school

So what? Is she trying to brag, "I'm so great, I can pay 5 million yen"?

Only heard about her on Girls Channel but she's a celebrity, right? As expected, celebrities sure are rich~
