On the 9th, Kinoshita posted an apology on Instagram.
An industry insider said, "Kinoshita regularly ranks in the top 10 of the 'Favourite Mama-talent' rankings, but this scandal has revealed her true colours."
Tokyo Sports talked to the owner of #ALLRIGHT who clarified the story.
Kinoshita's sister, Sayaka, and the owner were mum-friends who met at their children's kindergarten. Apparently, Sayaka was stressed about family matters so the owner invited her to help out with the store opening on July 20 to take her mind off things. The owner hired her as an employee but for some reason the Kinoshita sisters were under the impression that Sayaka was co-managing the store even though she didn't contribute any money to it.
The owner paid Sayaka's wages for July. Sayaka was told to come to the store to collect her pay for August and September. She didn't come so the money was transferred to her account on September 30th. The owner told Sayaka that she would mail her the payslip and Sayaka replied, "Okay."
Why was Kinoshita's sister treated like a criminal?
A food hygiene plaque went missing. The owner consulted the police and the police told her to first check with people who have a spare key. The owner asked Sayaka, and Sayaka felt that she was being treated like she was the culprit.
And then the messages from Kinoshita came.
People have been taking photos of the shop without permission. Online, people have been writing abusive messages to the shop, telling it to "Go under." #ALLRIGHT has been forced to close for a while because of this and the owner's health has deteriorated.
