AKS management apologise to the City of Niigata for the NGT assault scandal. Mayor Nakahara, "I want AKS to strive to win back people's trust."
On March 29th, the representative director of AKS, Yoshinari Natsuko, and the NGT theatre manager, Hayakawa Maiko, and NGT deputy theatre manager, Okada Takeshi made a visit to the city hall. They spoke for around 30 minutes with the city officials. The AKS representatives apologised for not having resolved the situation, and said that they will work hard to recover their trust.
On the 5th, the mayor stated, "I am very concerned about Yamaguchi-san who was hurt and is still suffering. As well as taking care of the members of the group, I want AKS to strive to win back people's trust and wipe away the fans unease and suspicion as quickly as possible."
*Background: Niigata City cut ties with NGT48 at the end of March and and will no longer be using the group in PR.

You're apologising to the wrong person.

The members don't care about Yamaguchi, do they?
The management only went to apologise because the other members were going to lose their jobs.

Corresponding with their sponsors is necessary, naturally.
Properly speaking, they should have apologised in person a lot earlier than this.
In order to do that, they should have confirmed the actual facts of the incident, but the previous management reshuffled staff without confirming the truth, and the new management are leaving everything to third parties.
The management settled on a convenient story, took action based on that, and failed over and over again.
Even if they apologise in person, since they haven't revealed the truth, there will only be negative consequences. I wonder if they understand that?

Please apologise to Yamaguchi Maho first.
- Even though they promised, they still haven't been able to dismiss the members who were the perpetrators.
- Without consulting Yamaguchi-san, they told the prefecture police that Yamaguchi-san made a false statement.
- Despite making Yamaguchi-san apologise on stage, they said that they didn't force her to, and denounced her as a liar again.
- Requesting Yamaguchi-san to do "connections trade" starting from two years ago.
*In many Asian countries, people have to suck up to clients in order to make connections, close a business deal, or make a sale. It is likely that "connections trade" is implying Yamaguchi was told to do something similar - make connections for AKS or other clients.
- Treating Yamaguchi-san as a "faint-hearted girl" with mental problems, and neglecting this "faint-hearted" Yamaguchi-san for several months, with the aim to wait for the incident to die down and be buried.
- Properly speaking, they should have privately communicated with this "faint-hearted girl" and improved the problem but they neglected the supposedly "faint-hearted" Yamaguchi-san, yet in the press conference they shamelessly stated, "We want to communicate with her from now on."
There's still more but I've already met the character limit.
Please hurry up and apologise to Yamaguchi-san, and solve this matter in a way that Yamaguchi-san can accept and have a peace of mind.

They're apologising to the wrong person and
it's also the wrong people apologising.
6. [+4344 / -23]
What are they doing? What are they hesitating over? Why has nothing changed since that press conference? Is there still something they want to hide? This problem will not be swept under the rug. Staying silent for any longer is cowardly!

I wonder why they went to apologise?
The management who are antagonising the victim, them winning back people's trust?
If you want to regain trust, please disclose everything.
I heard that after those arrested people were released, they weren't banned and have been freely going in and out of the theatre. Do they have some connection with the assailants?
In the first place, if they weren't connected to the assailants, the situation wouldn't have developed this way.
In a way like they have something to hide.
There's no way this matter can be concluded without dismissing someone, they should also reveal the dark side of the management.
If they didn't assist in the crime, they would probably be able to confidently dismiss them.
Is it because if they do dismiss them, there's the risk that people will say something like "a member has been arrested"?
They were probably planning to escape using the third party committee but, the truth cannot be manipulated.
Inconsistencies will appear somewhere.
I'm interested in what actions the members who are said to be involved in this incident will take if NGT cannot continue on.
That's all I want to say.
It seems like a life-threatening incident will occur but, I want the victims to reveal everything.
It's not the time to be worrying about others.

I think that apologising to their ex-sponsors is reasonable but before that I want them to properly apologise to Yamaguchi-san. Not just lip-service but in a form that Yamaguchi-san will accept. They are only being criticised because they can't do that. The mayor, one of their ex-sponsors, told them, "I want you to strive to win back people's trust" and the management gave them their word. As that is the case, they should disclose the names of the members who were linked to fans, and dismiss them. That was what Yamaguchi-san wanted from the start anyway. To begin with, if they don't do that, they won't be able to win back people's trust, and AKS can't blame anyone if they're perceived as having no intention of regaining trust.

They're a company of this nature, if you give them money, it'll never end.

19. [+1242 / -13]
Shouldn't you be apologising to Maho-chan who was hurt and not protected after the incident?
It's impossible to try to go on like nothing has happened.
It's ridiculous that they're trying to recover people's trust when they haven't done what they should have.
Nobita: There are at least three members who instigated this assault case.
Nobita: The third party committee has told us there are 12 members who were linked to fans.
Nobita: Niigata geographical problem is also a reason for these "links/connections". But Manager Imakura who tacitly consented these "links/connections" was dismissed.
Nobita: Next is punishing the members... I think there was a problem with our management methods.
Nobita: It's my responsibility, so I don't think that the members who assisted in the assault need to be punished.
Doraemon: No, that logic doesn't make sense.

Everyone, please don't forget.
This is an "unresolved assault case."
